Want to go to college
It is important to start thinking about what you like to do, and the colleges you may be interested in, along with maintaining a good GPA beginning your Freshman year of high school.

You should continue maintaining good grades and take the pre-ACT "PLAN" test or the PSAT - or both in your Sophomore Year

Start taking the actual SAT and/or ACT and visiting college campuses in your
Junior Year

While most high school students expect to go to college, many are not adequately prepared.   HIGH SCHOOL GRADES MATTER.  Start the process early and maintain good grades, even during your SENIOR YEAR.   Although I am committed to locating colleges and universities that offer Nontraditional Admission Options that allow students to be admitted conditionally or on probation until they prove their ability to handle college work and play sports, it is often difficult for students to enter any college( or the college of choice) with a GPA of 2.0 or lower.

Research the colleges you are interested in…compare your GPA to admission requirements
